New Year's Missionary Update: Robert Knuth

Happy New Year!

RKnuth1-22(1)
I wanted to send a brief email at the end of the year to THANK YOU for your faithfulness to RUF Michigan in 2021. Just this Fall semester together we saw:

-An average of 50 students a week open up the book of Joshua in small groups (not an easy book of the Bible to go through!)
-An average of 35 students a week hear the Gospel preached on campus
-18 student leaders met in our home every Sunday night to get trained to do evangelism/discipleship to their peers
-16 students got involved in our local church's "adopt a student" program.
-An average of 15 students attended Sunday morning corporate worship at our local church

Obviously, we can't measure ministry by numbers. Some of my favorite parts of this job are meeting with the dozens of students who (for a myriad of reasons) will never step foot into an RUF event or church on Sunday morning. How God is at work in their lives is not quantifiable.

YET, as faithful supporters (investors!) of this ministry at the University of Michigan, I want you to take a quick peek at the numbers and be encouraged that your gift, that your random prayer in the middle of the week, any quick text/email you send my way---it MATTERS more than you know.

So, thank you friends. Truly. Cheers to God's faithfulness in 2021, and an excited curiosity about all the things He might do here on campus (but also in your lives) in 2022!

In Him alone,
Robert

P.S. Next semester, I will be preaching through a series I'm entitling "Relationships Reimagined," which will be a topical series looking at biblical wisdom in our relationships---topics include friendship, work, parents, the local church, dating, singleness, sexuality, marriage. Obviously, there are a few hot button topics in there. I'm nervous, but our students need it. Please pray :)
