Our service begins at 9:15 on Sunday mornings at 136 S. Lynnhaven Road, Virginia Beach, VA 23452, although if you arrive earlier than that, you will find us getting ready for service. Our worship team warms up un the sanctuary as the hospitality team gets ready in the kitchen for communion and fellowship after the service. The nursery volunteers are getting set up for our littles to arrive, and the welcome team is ready to help direct you where you need to go!
When you arive, you can expect to be greeted and welcomed by our ushers. Feel free to ask any questions, including but not limited to, "Where is the nursery located?" "When can I meet the pastor?" or "How do I get connected into a community group?" Be sure to let them know if you're new or not; if you are, we have a gift for you! Be sure to grab a nametag and a bulletin at the welcome table on your way into the sanctuary.
Once the service starts, you will be able to follow along on the tv screens as well as in your bulletin. We live-stream our services to Facebook so that those in our fellowship who are unable to attend can still tune in on Sunday mornings. Be sure to check out our Facebook page to view past live-streams, or visit the sermons tab up above to listen to our sermons!
During announcements, you will be reminded that we have a gift for you as a first-time visitor, and you will be asked to fill out the tear-off section of our bulletin, the Connect Card, so that we can record your visit and thank you for worshiping with us. We hope you'll take a moment to fill it out and drop it in the offering plate on its way by!
Once the service is over, we clear out of the sanctuary pretty quickly so that our host church, Lynnhaven Presbyterian Church, can use the sanctuary for their service. Redeemer heads over to the other building for a time of coffee, bagels, and fellowship before the Sunday School hour from 11:00-12:00.
We hope to worship with you soon!
"What do people wear at Redeemer?" Believe it or not, it's one of the most-asked questions at Redeemer.
You might be wondering if we wear suits, jeans, khakis, or capris. The answer is yes.
First and foremost, come as you are!
But, just in case you're wondering how most people around here will be dressed—it's pretty broad. A lot of guys wear khakis or jeans and a polo or button-up shirt. Ladies wear jeans, pants, skirts, and dresses.
Most importantly, though, we look forward to seeing you—not what you're wearing!
